Tell a Friend
Name: Percy Ignatius Weasley
Born: 22 August, 1976
House: Gryffindor
Years at Hogwarts: 1987 - 1994 Prefect in years 1991-1993. Headboy 1993-1994
Present Occupation: Under Secretary to the Minister of Magic
Previous Occupation: Post within the Department for International Wizarding Co-operation

Living Arrangements: Since leaving the family home, Percy has been living at a boarding house in Wood Green, Haringey. Corrospondence (muggle post prefered, Owls tend to upset the muggle propritoress) should be sent to:

Mr Percy I. Weasley
Room 5,
Mrs Miller's Boarding House For Professional Gentlemen
26-28 Malvern Road
Haringey
LONDON
N8 4GY

However, Percy is saving to rent, or if possibly buy a property within the capital, perhaps closer to the Clearwater's family home. He might even ask Penny to live with him somewhere in Hampstead, if he can find a place that will suit them both. However, considering the diffeculty he has asking Penny anything like that, he probably won't be asking for quite some time.

While at the boarding house, Percy met another young man called Alan Walker, a local campanologist (Bell Ringer) who is employeed by the muggle Civil Service. Unfortunately the two seemed to have rubbed off on each other, with Percy now attending the local church on Wednesday nights for campanology sessions, and Alan how grows Spider Plants.

Family: Percy's family is large, however since the falling out (which he blames on their accusatory manners, and they blame on his pride and lack of humanity) he has seen them rarely. He has, however, written reguluar letters to his brother Charlie, and, strangely, to his dead uncle Fabian. Some might see this as an indication of spirituallity, but Percy sees it more as a diary. This letters are kept in a leather-bound volume in one of the draws of his writing desk, along with copies of past reports, and important memos. At present, a copy of a computer instruction manual occupies his bedside table (there is a book mark between pages 234 and 235) alongside a half empty jug of water and a spider plant.

To make up for his loss of family contact, the Clearwater's have taken pity on him and now he often attends their house for Sunday lunch. He still feels like he's imposing, but likes them all very much, even Penny's little sister.

Of His Parents:  Percy loves his parents. He loves every member of his family. However... well, if they hadn't accused him of being an unwitting spy on the household for Fudge, then he wouldn't have fallen out with the family in the first place. He took offence that his parents, the people who are meant to know him best, would think him lacking enough not to know when others were taking advantage of him. The way his parents assumed he hadn't worked hard enough to earn himself the promotion he recieved also cut deep.

Of Bill: Percy tends to think of Bill as the wizarding equivilant to Indiana Jones. He admired his older brother when he was a child, but as Percy grew older, he admired his brother less and less, finding his unconformist behavior and adventuring ways childish and rather unproper. Getting himself bitten by a werewolf was, ulimatelty, Bill's own fault. He should have stayed out of the damn thing's way. Their relationship is not helped by their incompatible personalities.

Of Charlie: He rather likes Charlie, truth be told.
